Christmas movies: quite possibly the most important part of the holiday season. It’s when you start seeing these films roll around on TV that you really know Christmas has started. Your Home Alone, your Claus, your Jingle All The Way.
Of all these classic (yes, CLASSIC) films one stands out as the greatest Christmas movie of all time; Die Hard. Perhaps also even the greatest movie of all time period, you know what time of year it is when you see John McClane crawling around the vents of Nakatomi Plaza, talking to himself and Sergeant Powell of the LAPD, trying to save his wife Holly who’s gone back to using her maiden name, all the while shouting yippee-ki-yay at various gentlemen.
When it comes to Christmas, it doesn’t get better. Unless you watch Die Hard 2: Die Harder straight after.
