Glee star Corey Monteith has been found dead in a hotel Room in Canada. The 31-year-old’s body was discovered on Saturday afternoon in Vancouver’s Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel.

Bradfords Bakers has closed the doors of each of its 13 bakeries and tearooms, including the premises on Sauchiehall Street.  Founded in Glasgow in 1924, the closure has meant the loss of more than 100 jobs.

J K Rowling’s attempt to release a novel under a pseudonym has been rumbled by an article in the Sunday Times. Pretending to be a debut writer called Robert Galbraith is said to have been a liberating experience for the Scottish author. Once she was revealed as the author, the book jumped more than 5,000 places to the top of Amazon’s sales list.

Today, Monday and Tuesday are the bookies favourites for the royal birth. The press are still camped out outside St Mary’s hospital in London however for those waiting a little further away, the announcement will be posted on an easel outside Buckingham Palace and will go out on Twitter once the Duchess of Cambridge gives birth.
