Tribeca is a cafe in the West end of Glasgow specialising in brunch, milkshakes, and everything you could possibly want out of an eating/drinking venue.
With a theme of NYC, the menu is as American as you can get. Massive portions, amazing taste and charming decor would allow you to think you are sitting in the middle of the cool downtown Manhattan neighbourhood the cafe is named after.
I went with my family as a treat for my Dad this Father’s Day, as he is a fan of the hustlin’ bustlin’ place that is New York, and he loves the West End for its quirks and charms. A 30 minute wait for a table for brunch didn’t put him off, as I promised the food and the atmosphere inside would be worth the wait. And yup it was and a lovely time was had by all.
My family all chose different things, which is perfect for this post as it allows me to show that the menu caters for all. I had a stack of buttermilk pancakes with fruit, my sister opted for eggs benedict, my dad went for a massive five egg meat omelette, and my mum (who gets up ridiculously early even on a Sunday) was on lunch mode by this time and had a wrap. I had a taste of them all (of course so I could write an honest opinion and not because I’m greedy….) and they were all great. As we waited outside for a table there were people getting take out, enjoying amazing milkshakes and coffees – so whatever you fancy Tribeca is the place for you.
Here’s some pics of our Father’s Day brunch to get your mouth watering…
There is a15% student discount too – if you can’t go to New York this summer, you should definitely go to Glasgow’s very own, Tribeca.
