WOOLWICH: Michael Adebowale and Michael Adebolajo have been charged with the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby.
Adebolajo is also accused of the attempted murder of two police officers and of possessing a firearm.
BNP protests at Westminster following Rigby’s death, resulted in 58 people being arrested when disorder sparked between the BNP supporters and members of Unite Against Fascism (UAF).
The Queen has also visited Woolwich barracks.
TURKEY: Protests against the redevelopment of a park in Istanbul have spiralled into large scale protests in the capital city.
Turkey’s PM Recep Tayyip has said the redevelopment will continue but that the police may have used excessive force when dealing with protesters.
The force used over the local issue seems to have prompted the widespread anger against the government.
ECSTACY: Police have issued a warning about two different tablets being sold as ecstasy in the Glasgow area.
The two tablets (pictured) contain potentially toxic chemicals.
Police have said those taking these tablets are “gambling with their life”.
