Sports Saturday – Big Money Signings, Big Money Fights And Big Game Day

The epic playoff series between the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers continues tonight with what is a do or die game for Indiana in game 6.

The Heat, having won the previous game on Friday night, are 3-2 up in the series and just one win away from claiming the Eastern Conference final for the third year running.

The Heat will have to travel to Indiana to make that a reality though and the way this series has gone down anything is possible at this stage which will no doubt make this a very interesting game for sports fans.

Can anyone honestly say they wouldn’t love to see a 7th game in this series as the decider?

In other sports news, though football seasons are drawing to a close across Europe there is still some exciting news in the world of the beautiful game.

Barcelona completed the signing of the biggest young Brazilian star in football, Neymar, for a reported £50 million, while Monaco confirmed today that they have signed Colombian star, Falcao, from Atletico Madrid for £50 million.

Manchester City’s hunt for a new manager may also be come to a close after Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini stated that he has a verbal agreement with the club to become boss.

There was also big news in the world of boxing as pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather announced that he will be taking on Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez on September 14 in Las Vegas in what is without a doubt the biggest fight that could have been made in boxing today. This fight is going to be huge.

NEXT WEEK: we will finally get to see who will be playing in the NBA finals, who will be coaching Manchester City next year and perhaps find out if Jose Mourinho will actually go back to Chelsea after his last game in charge of Real Madrid.
