Photo of the week: A long wait in Hong Kong

Those who are less affluent and still manage to stay in Hong Kong despite its property prices (think rents and purchase costs of property in London and you’re close) are faced with cramped living conditions, thus may not be able to fit standard sized beds into the rooms (or room) they have. This is where the woman above comes in. Her compact business provides numerous sizes of beds that you won’t find in Ikea… Pleasantly, she – along with the others that occasionally work there – maintains a cheery demeanour, providing a humble case study of someone who does not hate the success and wealth she sees, rather treats those she comes across with a smile and waits patiently for the next customer.
