Let A-Trak Warm You Up This Winter!

It’s getting to that time of year again where you need to start taking your coat out to clubs and stand in that dreaded cloakroom queue at the end of the night because of that extra chill in the air. However just cause it’s coming into winter that doesn’t mean the clubs are dying off, Sub Club have got one of the biggest DJ’s playing next week to warm us up for a winter of great music. Thursday 8 November will see A-Trak jump behind the decks at the infamous Sub Club and no doubt set the place on fire.

If you don’t know about A-Trak, then where have you been?

He’s been in the DJ game for over 10 years, in his long and prestigious career he has been Kanye West’s tour DJ, switched from a standard club DJ to a high profile international DJ and founded one of America’s coolest independent labels Fool’s Gold.

With Fool’s Gold he has created a name for himself for blurring the lines between hip-hop and electro introducing artists including Kid Cudi, Chromeo and Crookers to name a few. His fusion of hip-hop and house music has allowed him to do remixes for some of the biggest acts around including Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Boys Noize and Justice.

In 2009 he collaborated with Armand Van Helden to produce the electro collective Duck Sauce and released the club smash Barbra Streisand which took over all the clubs, even making a break into the Billboard charts in America and making it to Number three in the charts here in Britain.

So head down to the brilliant Sub Club next Thursday and expect jump up house, electro mixed in with hip hop and all of Sub Club to be sweating and going crazy for A-Trak.

A-Trak plays Sub Club, Thursday 8 November, 11.30pm tickets £10.
